A new Ultimate Collector Series TIE Advanced, Darth Vader’s personal ship, would be the first UCS version since 2006’s 10175 (pictured below), which is older than a lot of the people who will want it. It is said to include a Darth Vader minifigure and an Episode II poster tile. No confirmed price or piece count, but recent early-year UCS sets have landed around $229.99.

The August leaks did three useful things. They put a name on 75480, which turns out to be the Bespin Duel rather than an unidentified $79.99 mystery. They attached piece counts to most of the January wave, which is usually the last thing to leak before official reveals start. And they added an entire April block nobody saw coming, which gets its own sections below. Different outlets still print slightly different numbers for a few of these, which is normal this far out.
One row is quietly a big deal. The 2020 Bespin Duel (75294) was a Target exclusive in the US only, so most of the world never had a shot at it. The 2027 version is reported as a regular wide-retail play set at $79.99 with 718 pieces, which would make this the first time that duel gets a proper global release.
The row worth a closer look is the up-scaled Pilot Luke (75482), and it is worth a look because the number changed. We had this page carrying $149.99. Star Wars: Starfighter Is the Other Half of 2027
Here is the piece that reframes everything else on this page. Star Wars: Starfighter lands in theaters on May 28, 2027. Ryan Gosling plays Kade Auberon, Shawn Levy directs, and it is a standalone story set after The Rise of Skywalker. Iron Falcon (75481), 2027, month unknown. This one is either the strangest set of the year or a leak that quietly dies. A Star Wars and Marvel crossover, taken extremely literally, with five mash-up minifigures reportedly named Iron-3PO, War2-D2, Spider-Han, Captain Alderaan, and Hulkbacca. I have no idea what to do with that information. Filing it under believe it when LEGO says it.

StudDad’s Take
Three of these have me genuinely excited, and I am saying that as the Star Wars nerd in this family, not the deal guy. A George Lucas minifigure is a swing LEGO almost never takes, and building the making of A New Hope instead of a scene from it is a real idea, not a cash grab. A UCS Vader TIE Advanced is 21 years overdue. And a proper Cloud City with a new Han-in-carbonite mold is the kind of set that quietly becomes the one everybody regrets skipping.
I owe an update on the pricing worry. I said anniversary years come with anniversary prices, and the up-scaled Luke coming in at $99.99 instead of $149.99 argues against me, at least on that set. Good. I would rather be wrong that way.
The honest caution still stands, though, and it has shifted to the calendar. April 2027 is now carrying the anniversary display sets, Cloud City, five SMART Play sets and a movie launch wave all at once. If the whole display range is built around a poster-tile hook, the pull to buy the entire wall will be strong and expensive, and it will all hit in one month.
