How do you choose what goes on each Top 10?
Every list starts from our own LEGO set database: piece counts, price, theme, minifigures, retirement status, and aftermarket value. We filter to that list's focus (a price ceiling, a theme, an occasion), then rank by real value and buyability, not just whatever is discounted that day.
Are these sets on sale?
Not necessarily. Top 10 guides are about the best sets to buy in a category, at or near their normal price. When one of these sets is also discounted, you will usually find it over in LEGO Deals too.
What does "per piece" mean?
Price per piece (the set price divided by its piece count) is a quick value gauge. Under about 10 cents a piece is great value. Small sets and premium licenses naturally run higher. It is one signal, not the whole story. Minifigures, play value, and display appeal matter too.
How often are these updated?
Most Wanted refreshes weekly. The themed Top 10 guides are reviewed and refreshed as prices, availability, and retirements change, so a list you read months from now still reflects sets you can actually buy.
Do you earn money from these lists?
Some links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, StudSource earns from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. It never changes which sets make a list or how we rank them. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
